SWISH is excited to announce the introduction of a Girls 16 and under squad to our Inaugural Academy!

The squad will be coached by Shaun Towers with the support of local female mentors and cricketers.

We will be holding 2 trial days to support the selection of the squad, a small fee of $15 will be applied to secure your position. If you are unable to attend the trial and are interested in the academy, please contact me so I can pass your information onto Shaun.

Trial 1 – Friday August 28th 4:00-5:30pm (20 PAX

Trial 2 – Monday August 31st 4:00-5:00pm (8 PAX

Our Junior Bobtails at it again !!!!

🏏 Kim Hughes Shield

In our first match for the year, our Kim Hughes Shield team competed against Bunbury Catholic College. It was a strong performance from the Mercy boys, with Our Lady of Mercy College finishing 9/181 (40 overs) and defeating Bunbury Catholic College 121 (27 overs).

Captain Monty won the toss and chose to bat. After losing an early wicket, Monty and Sheldon put together a 94-run partnership to set up our total of 181.

In our bowling, Jay displayed his State U15 form, collecting two wickets. Jedd and Year 9 student Jaxon both bowled well, taking four and three wickets respectively. Our disciplined bowling restricted BCC’s scoring while taking wickets consistently.

We were the stronger fielding team, holding all but one catch and only one misfield.

Both of our players have been selected to represent the South West at the WA Cricket Under 14 Regional Development Carnival.

Selection for the carnival is based on performances at local community level as well as representative level. The carnival is managed by the WACA presents a huge learning opportunity both on and off the field for our talented boys.

Both boys had a great weekend on and off field, fingers crossed for selection to the next stage!
