The countdown is on! Entries for the 2026 NSW Kart Championship at Eastern Creek (October 2–4) open today, Thursday July 23, with classes opening in staggered time slots from 5:00pm.

🕠 5:30pm – KA3 Junior Light, X30
🕕 6:00pm – TaG 125 Light, TaG 125 Restricted Light
🕡 6:30pm – KA3 Junior Heavy, TaG 125 Heavy
🕖 7:00pm – Cadet 12, KA3 Senior
🕢 7:30pm – TaG 125 Restricted Medium, KZ2

⚠️ Maximum of 36 entries per class. Organisers may elect to over-subscribe up to three classes at their discretion, so don't leave your entry until the last minute!

That’s a wrap on AKC Townsville! ☀️🏁

A weekend packed with plenty of positives, valuable lessons and strong progress across the Velocity Kart Shop team. Every session gave us something to build on, and we’re leaving Townsville with plenty of confidence heading into the next round.

Now the focus shifts to Round 4 at Puckapunyal. We can’t wait to get back on track! 👊🏁

We are very sorry to hear of the passing of our good friend Matt Payne. We met Matt in 2010 at Canberra airport after a Pro Tour. He came and sat with us and laughed about how he heard over the radio in the commentary box that James was meant to get the white and black flag for an incident but the marshals couldn’t find the flag. Ever since that day it was always a pleasure to bump into him at various tracks around Australia and have a chat. We will always miss the familiar sound of his voice over the speaker. Rest in Peace ❤️

This Sunday marks Cullen’s last day with us before he heads off on another of his European adventures.

You’ve been a big part of the team and it’ll definitely be a bit quiet around here without you. Thanks for all your hard work, the laughs, and everything you’ve brought to the team over the years
