The Great NOSH Footrace is an annual trail run along Middle Harbour in Sydney, Australia. 2025 will be its 50th year!! Australia’s longest running trail rave.

When the going gets tough, the tough get going… The Great NOSH Footrace is one of Sydney's oldest and best trail running events. Running along Middle Harbour using Two Creeks Track, Flat Rock Trail and Magazine Track, the NOSH is a course from Lindfield Oval via Roseville Bridge to Seaforth Oval through some of Sydney's most spectacular bushland. Course length is 16km or 22km, mostly on bush track

That finish line feeling in the 2025 Great NOSH!

A fabulous day and turnout in the warm spring weather. The views over the harbour were a treat. The middle harbour bushland was beautiful. And it was great to see the kids and families enjoying the 3km and 5km bush trail runs.

Thank you everyone for embracing the new format with the 30km, 14km classic, 5km and 3km options and finish at Forestville Park.

Thank you to all the volunteers that enable the race to happen and also to our sponsors Steigen.

The first Great NOSH was held in 1975 and was organised by Owen Hale with assistance from Alan Cole. It was wonderful to have Alan present at the event and Owen's son, Nick, and grandson, Toby, presenting the awards at the event today.

The Great NOSH Footrace is a Bennelong Northside Orienteers event with support from Bold Horizons Orienteering NSW, Garingal Orienteers Big Foot Orienteers Western & Hills Orienteers SHOO Orienteering and Uringa Orienteering Club

We will be posting more details and results from the events in the next few days and will make the race photos available over the coming week.
