Smeath Racing established 2012 with a couple of mates purchasing our first horse at the Magic Millions sales. Based on good mates and family enjoying a day at the races and perhaps one day owning that elusive G1 horse. Current horses in the stable:

We could not be prouder of our mate and his awesome team. 2026/2027 is shaping up to be the biggest year yet and we can’t wait to go take those big races off our southern interstate rivals.

The Boss has had a secret holiday at Uncle Ciaron Maher’s place in Victoria preparing for his first interstate crusade. Mr Gollan insists this is a learning preparation for further interstate travel in 2027, also mentioned that we should make the hit and run trip to support the Boss. He’s $6 in the G3 Aurie’s Star behind War Machine. Dan Moor travelling down to ride. Makes for a very interesting bet on Saturday. If he wins there will be obvious signs at the Qantas Lounge… dare someone stopping us trying to get the horse into the lounge for a Bevy or two.

The first race day of the reconfigured Eagle Farm while demolition commences on the old stand and facilities.
Moulin Miss 4yr old Mare.
Gets the chocolates today but this mare is destined for greater things. Watch out for her as a mature 5yr old mare next winter carnival. One of off many Archer Park Racing & ERC collaborations.

The perfect drive in drive home race day. Sometimes it doesn’t need to be expensive hospitality events and all you can drink open bars at the races. Just go and enjoy the atmosphere and excitement in any capacity.
WARNING: This is someone trying to prepare for dry July and recruit other participants. It was hard not to hit a few more beverages. Lucky our horses didn’t win or I’d still be out on the town. On a serious note the ERC ERC have decided to do dry July. We have had a lot of mates struggling and we can do with a break also.
