The SkiErg is more than just a way to get your heart rate up.
It combines upper-body strength endurance, trunk control and cardiovascular fitness, while requiring you to repeatedly transfer force through the whole body.
It’s also easy to scale, speed, resistance and duration can all be adjusted to suit the person and the purpose of the session.
What's your fave Erg equipment? Admin loves the assault bike 😈

Pilates isn’t just about being more flexible.
Reformer Pilates gives you resistance and feedback throughout the movement, challenging you to control your body through different positions rather than simply moving from A to B.
That can mean better body awareness, more control through your hips and shoulders, improved stability, and the ability to produce and absorb force through a greater range of motion.
It’s not about making movements look perfect. It’s about building a body that’s stronger and more capable in more positions.

This week in the functional space we head into deload week.
Why do we deload? 👇
Training hard is important, but so is knowing when to pull back.
A deload week is a planned reduction in training volume and intensity that gives your body a chance to recover from the fatigue built up over a training block.
It doesn’t mean doing nothing, and it definitely doesn’t mean you’re going backwards.
We use deloads to:
• Reduce accumulated fatigue
• Give joints and muscles a chance to recover
• Maintain good movement quality
• Manage soreness and niggles
• Keep training quality high long term
• Prepare you to attack the next block
Think of it as taking one step back so you can keep taking steps forward. Especially since we have testing week next week 💪
