As another season comes to an end, we want to recognise the people who make the Eagleby Giants what it is.

Every training session. Every game day. Every jersey handed out. Every field set up. Every injury attended to. Every sausage cooked. Every message sent. Every child encouraged.

It happens because someone volunteered their time to make it happen.

To our committee, coaches, assistant coaches, League Safe and First Aid volunteers — you give up your afternoons, evenings and weekends, not because you have to, but because you care about this club and the people in it.

You don't get paid to be here. You simply show up.

And you keep showing up.

To our parents, families and friends, thank you for everything you do. The lifts to training, the early mornings, the late afternoons, the volunteering, the cheering from the sidelines and the constant support you give our players and our club.

And to our players — you are the reason we all do it.

Watching you develop as rugby league players is fantastic, but watching you build confidence, friendships, resilience and a love for being part of a team is what makes all those volunteer hours worthwhile.

A community club isn't just a logo, a jersey or a footy field.

It's people.

It's people giving their time for other people's kids. It's families supporting families. It's volunteers working together to create somewhere our players can belong, have fun, make mates and be proud to call their club.

We could never properly count the hours our volunteers have given the Giants this year — but we hope you know how much every single one of them has mattered.
