Dunsborough Towner's Football Club was formed in 2004 by ex-president Tony Plumb

The club has had plenty of success in its history including numerous League and Cup trophies

In 2020 the Club won it's first Men's Premier League trophy after a successful 2019 which saw the Premier Men and Reserve Men claim SWSA League Cup trophies the Reserve Men win the league and the Club won it's Second Pioneer Cup Trophy

In 2021 the Premier Ladies had it's most successful season with their highest league finish as well as reaching the SWSA League Cup Final. The Premier Men went on to win the SWSA League Cup Final

The final showdown certainly didn’t disappoint! We went to Bunbury to contest three Cup Finals, and three Cups came home to Dunsborough!

Our incredible U14 Glory started the day with a spectacular win over Geo Bay FC.

Oscar Dagg produced one of the highlights with a sensational free kick straight into the top of the net! Surely someone got that on film?

Oliver Kozyrski was named Best on Ground for his perseverance and ability to win those critical moments.

Congratulations U14 Glory on securing the DOUBLE undefeated League & Cup Champions and our highest scoring team of 2026! 🏆🏆

We also celebrated Alistair Coutts, awarded Fairest & Best for the Football South West U15 Leeuwin League. An inspirational member of our U15 Mariners. Congratulations Ali!

Next it was U12 Victory v U12 Wanderers. One certainty, the Cup was coming home to DTFC!

Locked at 2–2 at full time, the match went through extra time and into penalties. Exceptional goalkeeping from Jai Tresham and Adam Essofi saw it decided on the fifth penalty, with Wanderers taking the win.

Broken hearts on one side and celebrations on the other, but what an incredibly talented group of U12s we have.

Alice Hutchinson was named Best on Ground for her consistency and trademark never-give-up attitude. Well deserved, Alice!

And finally……

They brought the crowd.
They brought the cheer squad.
And boy, did they bring the entertainment!

Our Men’s Reserves put on a show against Football Margaret River.

A Stu Gidley free kick found captain Eric McSweeney, who hammered home the opener. Chris “Blacky” Blackburn was relentless at the back, while U17s Maddox Dragstra and Isaac Blefari brought youth and energy to the contest.

Up front, Lorenzo Maisto delivered a HAT-TRICK, one thanks to a cross from Andrew Porter. Lorenzo’s outstanding performance also earned him Best on Ground! 👏🏆

And our kids on the sidelines brought the posters, voices and an incredible cheer squad to finish the day in style!

Three Finals. Three Cups. One incredible day.

Congratulations to every player, coach, manager, volunteer, parent and supporter.

WHAT. AN. EPIC. SEASON!

From our youngest MiniRoos and Jillaroos right through to our senior teams, 2026 has been an incredible year for Dunsborough Town Football Club.

League titles, cup finals, unforgettable moments, new friendships and plenty of memories made along the way.

But more than anything, this season has been about our people — our players, coaches, managers, volunteers, parents, sponsors and supporters who make this club what it is.

We couldn’t be prouder of everything our club has achieved this year.

DUNSBOROUGH Town Football Club is celebrating one of the strongest seasons in its history after securing three league championships across its junior and senior ranks.

The Men’s Reserves became the latest side to add silverware, claiming the Football South West Seniors League title with a 5-2 win over Dalyellup in the final game of the season.

Their success completed a treble for DTFC, following league titles for the U14 Glory and unbeaten U17 Jets.

Club president Tash Blefari said the results reflected the strength of the club across different age groups.

“To see our U14 Glory, U17 Jets and now our Men’s Reserves crowned league champions in the same year is something truly special,” she said.

“It speaks to the culture we have built — one of hard work, connection and genuine love for the game.”

The Men’s Reserves entered their final-round clash knowing a win would secure the championship and delivered with a 5-2 victory at home.

Coach Andrew Porter said the title race had gone down to the wire, with the team’s composure and determination proving decisive.

The U17 Jets were crowned Football South West Regional League Champions after completing the entire league season without a loss.

Coaches Steve Blefari and Brent Peterson guided a squad that also supplied several players to DTFC’s senior teams.

“They have shown what can be achieved when passion, hard work and community come together,” Ms Blefari said.

The U14 Glory also secured the 2026 Leeuwin Region League Championship after a season built around consistency, teamwork and development.

Coach James Cross said he was “absolutely over the moon and proud of the squad and the professionalism they have brought to the game throughout the season”.

DTFC’s season is not over yet, with several teams preparing for Football South West Cup Finals at Hay Park in Bunbury on September 19.

Both U12 Victory and U12 Wanderers have qualified for the junior final, while U14 Glory and the Men’s Reserves have also secured Cup Final places.

The club thanked its coaches, volunteers, parents, supporters, sponsors and grant partners for their contribution throughout the season.
