There’s something so magical about watching a young dancer reach this moment.

✨ SATURDAY MINI’S! ✨

Our Mini’s are quite possibly the BEST part of our Saturdays! 🥹🩷

There’s nothing better than seeing these little dancers walk through the studio doors, ready to dance, learn, make friends and have the absolute BEST time!

Our Mini’s classes are all about building confidence, developing their dance skills, learning how to work together and, most importantly, having FUN! 🩰✨

The giggles, the big personalities, the little dance moves and those proud smiles at the end of class… we LOVE it all! 🥰

Saturday mornings just wouldn’t be the same without our Mini’s filling the studio with so much energy and joy! 💕✨

Our littlest dancers really are the best part of our Saturday! 🩷

A HUGE congratulations to all of our Company teams who competed today at Winter Dance Festival in Newcastle! 🩰🏆

Another great competition in a lovely venue, but our favourite part of today was the friendliness and support between studios and dancers.

We had dancers from other studios cheering for us, applauding our performances and giving our kids the most beautiful compliments. 🥹

Personally, it’s not something we’ve experienced in the Central West, and it’s something we absolutely LOVE about competing along the coast and in Newcastle. The way we are welcomed and treated by the competition owners, studio owners, dancers and families across Newcastle, Terrigal and the surrounding areas is just amazing. 🥹✨

We LOVE the relationships we have built with so many people in these areas. ❤️

This is how dance should be.

No nasty or petty behaviour.
No staring down other talent.
No looking down on others.
Noone talking poorly about other dancers or studios.

Just support, encouragement, kindness, respect and a genuine love of dance. 🫶🏼

➡️THIS is where we love being.
➡️THIS is where we want to be.
➡️THIS is what dance should be about! ❤️

We are SO incredibly proud of our kids. They have travelled all over the place this year, juggling huge schedules, travel, school, training and competitions, and they continue to show up and give it everything they have. 👏

Today’s competition was SUPER, SUPER tough, with so much incredible talent on that stage, but every single one of our dancers held their own and should be incredibly proud of themselves! 👏🏼🔥

To every single dancer — WELL DONE! ❤️

And of course, a HUGE thank you to our incredible village because it really does take a village… and my village is an absolute POWERHOUSE! 🔥❤️

✨ Thank you Nerida Burton for putting your hand up time and time again, loading up your car with props, costumes and you name it… EVERYTHING ELSE! 😂 You are always there to help and we appreciate you more than you know. We genuinely couldn’t do it without you!

✨ Thank you Mel Bennett for taking my little ones home today so they could get home ready for Book Week tomorrow. The juggling never stops, and I appreciate you stepping in and helping me make it all work. ❤️

✨ Thank you Ellisyn Smith & Anikah Fogarty for helping with our juniors today. Your help, patience and support made such a difference and we are so grateful! 🫶🏼

✨ And a HUGE thank you to Miss Molly for running the day alongside me today. I honestly couldn’t thank you enough for your support. Having you beside me, helping with everything and keeping things moving makes these days SO much easier.

It really does take a village to make this all happen… and when I look around at the people standing beside me, I know just how lucky I am.

We welcome BACK Miss Matilda (& Miss Molly!!!) after their overseas journey! ✈️🌏

Matilda drove to Sydney straight after Wellington Eisteddfod on Sunday night, ready for her flight from Sydney ➡️ Singapore ➡️ Paris ➡️ MOROCCO! 🇲🇦

After 3 weeks…then it was straight back into our crazy competition schedule! 😮

After approximately 35 hours of airports, flights and travel, Matilda made her way from Paris ➡️ Singapore ➡️ Sydney ➡️ Dubbo on Friday, arriving ready for semi finals… THEN a flight from Dubbo ➡️ Sydney, followed by a drive to Newcastle, arriving READY FOR COMP! 😮‍💨🔥

Now THAT is dedication to your team at its finest! ❤️

Who schedules the family holiday right in the middle of TWO competitions?! 😂🙋‍♀️
But when you’re committed to your team, you make it work! 👏 👏

A HUGE, HUGE, HUGE commitment to come straight from overseas, jump straight back into the competition schedule and be there for your team. This is what teamwork looks like! 👏🏼❤️

It’s not always easy, and it certainly isn’t always convenient, but showing up for your team when they need you most… THAT’S TEAMWORK, PEOPLE!!!! 🫶🏼🔥
