2026 SEASON UPDATE

The South City Chiefs have informed the AFSA Board that they will not be fielding a Seniors team for the 2026 season.

The Chiefs have worked hard to build the numbers required to field a team, however they have been unable to reach the numbers needed to safely compete in the 2026 season. With player safety being the priority, the Chiefs have made the decision not to field a Seniors team this year.

AFSA and the Chiefs are committed to working together over the next 12 months to build the club back up and get the Seniors team back on the gridiron for the 2027 season.

As a result, the entire 2026 league schedule has been updated.

The new season schedule will be released later today across our social media channels and website.
