Balmain regatta!! Micβd up Malks was too busy racing and thinking of ways to scratch her single that she forgot to harass anyone with a mic and a kitchen utensilπ€¦ββοΈπ€¦ββοΈπ€¦ββοΈπ€¦ββοΈβ¦ 90% sure everyone is cheering! ANYWAY! What a day that was had today with lots of lessons learnt:
1. Helen is an absolute gun and needs to spend less time at the gym because she broke her oar 10 strokes from the finishβ¦ but the quad still won!! What absolute troopers π«‘β
2. Anyone can be a cox! Just throw on a mic and wrongly time how many strokes are left of the race and youβre half way there (in all seriousness, the appreciation I have for coxes is only growing # # ) π€π’
3. Three races is enough β¦ 5 is probably excessive and not worth it π΄π΄π΄
4. Learn how to back in a four before signing up to race (wink wink nudge nudge (not us)) πππ
5. The sun does in fact shine through the cloudsβ¦ something we are all taught when we are born. Some may choose to ignore it (βοΈ) βοΈβοΈβοΈ
6. Clean up Australia Day is super important and we are super super grateful to of the volunteers who took time out of their day to clean up our bay! Shoutout to Kath who went in the tinny to clean up the water!
