This Saturday, our Men’s Masters Grade 1 team and our Men’s Grade 7 team are both taking to the court in the first round of Pennant Finals — and both matches will be played at home!

What a fantastic morning for our Wooden Racquet Day!
It was great to see players dust off the old wooden racquets and enjoy a fun social morning of tennis in beautiful sunshine. There were plenty of laughs, some surprisingly impressive rallies, and even one racquet that gave way and broke its strings!
Thanks to everyone who joined in and made it such a memorable event. 🎾

Step back in time and enjoy a set of tennis played with traditional wooden racquets. It's a great chance to have some fun, try something different, and enjoy a social morning with fellow members. Regular social tennis to follow afterwards.

Join us for an afternoon of laughs, friendly competition, snacks and prizes. Bring a plate of food to share on the tables and enjoy a relaxed social afternoon at the club.

As we celebrate National Volunteer Week, Donvale Tennis Club would like to thank all of our amazing past and present volunteers, who help make our club such a strong and welcoming community. From committee members and convenors to parents, coaches and behind-the-scenes helpers, your time and dedication is truly appreciated.
We’re also proud to congratulate Kathryn Lagarrigue on receiving a 2026 Menzies Community Volunteer Award for Excellence in Volunteering, presented by Federal Member for Menzies.
As our Junior Convenor, Kathryn has brought incredible energy and organisation to our junior program, helping oversee competitions, volunteers, canteen operations and season launch days. A very well-deserved recognition for her outstanding contribution to our club community.

Mark Hartnett Pro Tennis Academy is once again proud to be part of Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea, helping the Cancer Council raise vital funds for people impacted by cancer.
Tennis clubs are busy places, with people visiting at different times throughout the day. Rather than hosting one single event, we hope every part of the club can come together in their own way.
Whether it’s over a hit of tennis, a cup of tea, a coffee, a beer or even a glass of wine, we encourage everyone to take a moment to connect, support one another and help raise funds for this wonderful initiative.

Girls by INNER SOUL SOLUTIONS

We’re excited to announce a brand-new opportunity for our competitive girls — the Girls Match Play Series sponsored by Inner Soul Solutions.

This initiative has been created through a collaboration between Lisa Hartnett, Head Coach of Donvale Tennis Club, and Vicky Lee, Head Coach of Doncaster Tennis Club.

Together, we are creating a girls-only competitive match play experience designed specifically for selected players from our local clubs.

This is by invitation only, with direct selection by Lisa and Vicky.
