Doncaster cricket club is proud to announce Tim Waters as the first eleven captain for season 2026/27.
Tim has become one of Doncaster’s most respected and reliable contributors both on and off the field. His leadership qualities, calm presence under pressure, and deep understanding of the game make him an outstanding choice to lead our first eleven. As we look ahead to the 2026/27 season, we’re excited for the direction Tim will take our first X1 and the standards he will set for the playing group.

Josh’s appointment is a milestone moment for the club. Over the past 10 years, he has been a cornerstone of the Doncaster cricket club. A leader, a mentor and a player whose commitment has shaped our culture. His impact was formally recognised when he was named in the clubs prestigious team of the 25 years, highlighting both his on-field excellence and his contribution to the club’s legacy. We are thrilled to have Josh step into this role as we continue building a strong and competitive future for Doncaster cricket club.
