🎬 EMPOWER FILM AWARDS — SUNDAY 13 SEPTEMBER

Join us at the iconic Astor Theatre for a powerful afternoon celebrating courage, creativity and the extraordinary stories within our Empower community.

The centrepiece of the event will be SAFE, a short horror film created by Niko alongside Emery. After the frightening beginning to Niko’s journey last year, he turned to imagination and filmmaking to remain strong, resilient and hopeful.

We will also screen:

🎥 Everyone Has a Story - created with students from Carey Grammar
🎥 A special film featuring the late Richard Norton - Sauvetage
🎥 Inspiring Empower short films and documentaries
🏆 Special awards recognising our students, filmmakers, mentors and supporters.

Guests can enjoy professional red-carpet photos before the screenings, followed by a short Q&A and awards presentation.
