Tiger Cubs is back for Term 3! Join us from this Friday, July 17th, for a fun and active sports program designed for kids aged 3–5 years. Each week, little ones get to try a range of sports while building confidence, skills and friendships.

This year's NAIDOC Week theme, "50 Years of Deadly", celebrates five decades of strength, resilience, culture and community.
It's an opportunity to honour the Elders, leaders, artists and communities who have shaped this movement, while recognising the ongoing contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples across all areas of life.
As we celebrate this milestone, we also look to the future of supporting the next generation to grow up strong in culture, identity and pride.

A huge congratulations to Nillumbik Leisure's Betty Anderson, who was the recipient of the Most Valuable Employee Award at the 2026 Aquatics and Recreation Victoria Awards on Friday 12th June.

Betty has been encouraging Nillumbik's Active Movers to stay fit, healthy and connected for over 42 years. Betty teaches 7 classes a week across Eltham Leisure Centre, Diamond Valley Sports and Fitness Centre and Community Bank Stadium.

However, Betty is far more than a group fitness instructor. She is a defining figure in the lives of many older adults and the driving force behind a thriving, connected and engaged community across our centres. Her genuine care and passion for healthy ageing make her an incredibly valuable part of Nillumbik Leisure, the broader Aligned Leisure organisation, and the community she so strongly supports.
