Big Mac Taco… Recipe 👇🏼
I am obsessed with these at the moment😋
Ingredients per Taco
* 100g Extra Lean beef mince
* Salt and pepper (to taste)
* 15g Coles Special Burger Pickles
* 20g Shredded ice-berg lettuce
* 17g Coles Special Burger Sauce
* 30g Eat Lean Shredded Cheese
* 1 X Mission Carb Balance Wrap
Instructions
1. Shape the Beef:
* Divide the beef into 100g small balls
* Flatten each ball directly onto a wrap, spreading it into a thin, even layer. Press gently to ensure it sticks.
* Season with salt and pepper.
2. Cook the Beef-Tortilla Wrap:
* Heat a pan over medium heat.
* Place the tortilla beef-side down. Cook for 2-3 minutes, pressing gently with a spatula to crisp the beef and ensure it cooks through.
* Flip the tortilla and cook the other side for about 1-2 minutes, until golden brown and slightly crispy
3. Assemble:
* On the beef side of the wrap add burger sauce, shredded cheese, lettuce and pickles.
* Fold the tortilla in half like a taco and enjoy while warm!

Here is another delicious meal which is quick and easy. It is a “Thai Curry in a hurry”. I absolutely love Marion’s Kitchen meals because they are quick and easy and they usually have excellent nutritional values, BUT do keep an eye on the sodium content. Cooking this for your family is definitely a healthier option compared to ordering takeout, which tends to be higher in calories and sodium. Ultimately, it’s all about making small adjustments and smarter choices. If you’re a busy Mum, this better choice can positively impact the entire family. “Winner Winner Chicken Dinner”. Ok, now I will stop with all the silly sayings. Give this a try, it is my favourite of all her meals. I also love the Japanese Katsu Curry and when I make that I use more chicken to bump up the protein.

I could enjoy this for dinner every night. The straightforward combination of steak and vegetables is something I truly appreciate. It leaves me feeling both full and satisfied. This meal offers 41g of protein per serving, along with 5 servings of vegetables. It’s a definite win.

I’m sharing my meal plan for the week as I enter a calorie deficit to lose 2-3 kg before our Queensland holiday in 8 weeks. I usually maintain around 2500 calories due to my active lifestyle, so 1700 calories feels low for me now. I keep most meals the same, changing only dinner, and I prepare backup breakfast and lunch options to avoid boredom. I update my plan weekly. Last year, I struggled with a deficit, but my weight has remained the same for the last 1-2 years.
I will add a post with my dinners later in the week. This week I have my dinners planned: Steak and Veg, Pizza, Taco’s, Thai Satay Chicken, Lamb Souvlaki, Fish, Chips & Salad
My current lifestyle goals include:
Daily
10k Steps
2.5-3L Water
2-3 serves of Fruit
5 serves of Veg
6-8hrs Sleep
Weekly
3 x 40-minute weight training sessions
1-2 x 3 km Jogs each week

Who doesn’t love pizza? 🍕🍕
Let’s be real, it might not be the healthiest choice out there, but when you’re trying to lose weight, sometimes you just have to indulge in what you crave. And I absolutely love this pizza! It’s quick, easy, packed with protein and fiber, and oh-so-delicious. If you find yourself too tired to cook one night, this is definitely a better alternative to takeout. It only takes 3 minutes to prep and just 12 minutes to bake. I take the pizza from the freezer, add some salami and cheese on top, and pop it right into the oven—no need to defrost! With under 400 calories and over 30 grams of protein, this quick meal is a total winner!
I have only seen all these ingredients at Coles.
Let me know if you try this? Enjoy 😋
