Based in the central northern coastal region of Tasmania the club draws members from the region around the the city of Devonport.
Mersey Valley Devonport Cycling Club has a proud history dating from the late 1950's when the club was formed as the Mersey Valley Amateur Cycling Club to promote cycle racing at tracks in the district. Latrobe, Devonport & Railton tracks formed a nucleus of a strong and successful sporting tradition. Organised cycle racing in the area dates back to the late 19th century. The region has produced m
