As you may have seen ParaQuad Tasmania is hosting Her Path to Play Wheelchair Basketball for women and girls (12+*). Already locked in at Westbury, we are excited to bring Her Path to Play to Moonah!

No experience needed, everything supplied, including sports wheelchairs 🏀👩‍🦽

It's more than a sport session, it's a chance to connect, build confidence, and be part of a supportive community.

There was some great basketball action at the Devonport stadium today for round 1 of the TJBL finals. .

Congrats to all our Warriors teams.

A huge thank you to an array of amazing volunteers who helped make the day a huge success including match managers, Cheryl, Leanne, Tony, Lyn, Tahnee, Gina, Mel and Kayla.

To the parents who did their duty in the canteen and to all the families that showed up to support our junior athletes, thank you.

Preliminarily finals will be held in Ulverstone next weekend with U18 teams playing on Friday night and all other age groups playing on Sunday 6th September.

Our U18 TJBL teams played their semi finals last night.

Our U18 Champs boys went down to Burnie 49 to 62 but will meet Penguin for the preliminary final next Friday the 4th September at Ulverstone at 8.40 PM.

Ulverstone Redhoppers were too strong for our U18 Boys Shield team getting over the line in a close 9-point win.

The shield boys will take on Somerset next Friday at 6.15 pm at Ulverstone.

In the U18 Girls elimination final last night our Warrior ladies defeated Wynyard in a tight battle winning by just 2 points.

The girls will face Penguin next Friday night in Ulverstone at 7.20 pm for the preliminary final.

Please get along to Ulverstone next Friday night to cheer our DBS Sheds and Bathrooms and Waterfront Cafe, Mini Golf & Apartments U18’s on.

Jackson Ford Devonport Warriors Basketball are thrilled to announce co-coaches for our Torque Gear for Guys U22 Men’s program for 2026.

Both Dane and Nic bring a vast array of experience to the role and along with assistant coach, Mitch Farr, our U22 men will have some great support on and off the court.

A reminder to all eligible players that training commence this Sunday, 30th of August at the Devonport Stadium from 6.30 pm to 8 pm.

If you are unable to make training on Sunday but wish to be a Warrior for our U22 men’s, please reach out to the coaching staff.
