The Women’s Socials Cup Final promises a fascinating contest between two sides who have already enjoyed strong seasons.
Griffins booked their place in the final with a 2-0 semi-final win over Phoenix and come into the decider as league champions, having claimed the title comfortably. Standing in their way is a Mount Barker side that battled through a tight 2-1 semi-final against Denmark Dream to earn their place on the big stage.
The last meeting between these sides was decided by just one goal, with Griffins claiming a 1-0 win. Can Mount Barker turn the tables when it matters most?
One game. One trophy. Cup glory is within reach.
Then there’s the Men’s Socials Cup Final, with both Polonia and Denmark arriving after big semi-final victories.
Denmark have been the dominant force in the Socials competition this season, securing the league title while finding the back of the net an incredible 69 times across the year.
But Polonia have already shown they can push Denmark all the way. Their last meeting was a thriller, with Polonia claiming a 4-3 victory thanks to a dramatic winner in the 86th minute.
With both sides coming off convincing semi-final wins, this one has all the ingredients for a cracking Cup Final.
