OK so what happens when you have a Shoot-off Handicap Competition between the President / Secretary & Treasurers challenge - yep there is a winner for August (TREASURER'S) team, thanks Ben for the blurry photo!
Interesting to note: Treasurer had 15 team members with an off-the-bow score totaling 9750 points (yep Tyler we included your score), 4 Compound, 2 Barebow & 9 Recurve archers. President fielded 14 competitors and scored 9016, consisting of 3 Compounds, 4 Barebow, 1 Longbow & 6 recurve archers. Secretary team (who took out the trophy in 2025) had 11 competitors scoring 7060 with 3 Compounds 2 Barebow & 6 Recurve. This is the first month of Competition, total of 40 club members shooting. These scores get added to the September handicap event on the 19th September.......GAME ON! I am sure we can change the outcome in Sept!

Season 2 of our AdBow/KidBow program finished today by shooting the Shrinking Page round. Distance is 10m, shot on a 122cm face/80cm face/60cm face/40cm face.
Well done to: Mitchell (RM) who took out the Adult Section, with Hayley (RF) claiming silver, both acheiving an All Gold.
In our Youth Section: Tudor (RU12M came out on top, silver going to Melina (RU14F), and Ross (RU16M) took bronze.
Final season for the year starts on 13th September.

August Handicap had an awesome turn out today with Thomas (RM) taking out the honors & umberra with a score of 965, 2nd was Chloe (RF) on 964 (soooo close), with 3rd placed going to Orlando (RU14M) on 943. There were amazing 14 members who shot over their handicap this month which is a record, each will receive a $10 incentive award and were presented with fun lanyards. In the Hidden score Paul / Craig & Chloe were closest too. Well done everyone.

Gold Classification Field handed out to Lily today well done.

AdBow/KidBow Club Championships were held today for those who have been members less than 12 months (some only a couple of weeks). Members were listed to shoot distances linked to their rating and had some great results in a 720 round.
Well done to Harry Chipman (Barebow) who took out the AdBow Club Championships with a score of 644, and to Matilda Klaassan (RU12F) with a score of 615 who took out the KidBow Club Championships Title. Trophies to be awarded at Club Presentation Night.

Awards handed out today, Megan Gold & Silver perfect 18m as well as World Archery Red performance award, Corey Black & Blue Field Classification, Roger & Ewelina Black Target Classification & Matilda Black Target & Indoor Classification, well done.

AdBow/KidBow Program Season 2/2026 had its last qualification round today, with the final tournament being held next weekend.
