If you haven’t already registered your team for our Senior Summer Competition hop to it so you don’t miss out!

The competition will run for 10 rounds plus finals, with Men’s & Women’s grades played on a Monday night and Mixed played on a Thursday night, all at Nolan Reserve at 6:30pm and 7:30pm time slots.

Registration must close at the end of August, with our Senior Summer Competition set to get underway from:

Manly Touch is now calling for qualified Coaches to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to coach Manly Touch SSC teams to play at the NSWTF Senior State Cup to be held in Port Macquarie from December 4th to 6th.

Six years ago, when our Management Committee needed support, Kerrie and Lynda answered the call — and from that moment they threw themselves into the role of joint Senior Rep Directors with an enthusiasm, thoroughness and dedication that has set the standard for everyone around them.

For six years they have been the backbone of our senior representative program. Managing players, coordinating teams, keeping our senior membership informed, and representing MWTA at NSW Touch level with professionalism and care. Every event, every communication, every detail — handled. And all of it done with a smile and remarkably few complaints, despite the countless volunteer hours they have quietly given to this club season after season.

What makes their contribution even more remarkable is that they did all of this while continuing to play — turning out for our local competition to support the club and representing MWTA at state and regional level at the same time. They were never just administrators. They were — and are — players who love this game and this club deeply.

Their insight and contribution at committee level has been invaluable, their voices always measured and considered, and their impact felt far beyond what any job description could capture. Six years of showing up, getting it done and making our senior program better in every way.

As you step down from the Management Committee know this club is so much richer for everything you have given it, and we will be forever grateful. Thank you from your Manly Family.

26 years. Countless championships. And a legacy that runs through almost every women’s player who has ever pulled on a Manly jersey.

After more than two decades of dedication to Manly Warringah Touch Association, Keith Smith has decided to call time on coaching at Manly — and we couldn’t let that moment pass without saying what he means to this club.

From our youngest junior teams all the way through to our Senior State Cup and Vawdon Cup squads, Keith has been a constant presence on our sidelines. He has taken teams to Junior State Cup finals and State Championships, guided senior women’s teams to multiple Vawdon Cup and Senior State Championship titles, and somewhere along the way managed to coach what feels like every women’s player to have ever represented Manly over the last quarter of a century. If you’ve worn our colours, chances are Keith had a hand in shaping the player you became.

And when any team needed help — at any level, at any point in the season — Keith was the first to put his hand up and step into the coaching box without hesitation. That kind of selflessness is rare, and it never went unnoticed.

Named Senior Club Captain in 2008 and chosen as Club MVP as recently as 2024, Keith’s contribution to this club has been recognised at every level — but the real measure of his impact is in the players, the teams, and the memories he leaves behind. 26 years is not a coaching career. It’s a gift to a club and its community.

Keith — from every player, every family and everyone at MWTA who has had the privilege of knowing you, thank you. You are Manly through and through, and you always will be.

There are two Level 1 or Affiliate Referee courses being run within our region and we enourage anyone that would like to become a referee to attend either of these courses, as at this time we have not been able to secure a course facilitator to run a course at Manly Touch.
