Today we gathered for our Annual General Meeting and elected the committee for the 2026/2027 season.

Firstly, we’d like to extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to everyone who served on the 2025/2026 committee. Your dedication, time and hard work has not gone unnoticed. To those moving on to new adventures, we wish you all the very best and hope to see you back around the club.

The Casuarina Cougars Rugby Union Club is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated coaches and team managers to join team staff for the 2026/2027 season! 🐾

We’re seeking team staff across all grades:

JUNIORS
• Under 6s
• Under 8s
• Under 10s
• Under 12s
• Under 14s
• Under 16s
• Under 18s

SENIORS
• Men’s B Grade
• Women’s
• Men’s A Grade

Whether you’re an experienced coach, a previous Cougars coach or someone looking to get involved and help develop the next generation of players, we’d love to hear from you!

Our very own women’s skipper Laura Luchetti has been awarded the Karen Schneider Memorial Scholarship - we couldn’t be more proud!

Many of us see the dedication Laura has for Casuarina Cougars shown through her mentorship, coaching, game day medic and strapping to name a few but that’s not where her dedication stops - Laura has been dedicated to her physiotherapy studies, diving into a profession to help others while also aligning with her love for sport.

Laura - You are so deserving of this scholarship, we cannot wait to continue to follow you along your journey💙🤍
