Spent the last day in Austin, Texas before we fly back to Australian soil. As much as I don’t want to leave my US family, I can’t wait to get home and try all the new things I’ve learnt on my own horse. I just want to give a big thanks to everyone that has supported and followed my journey, I really appreciate all the kind and uplifting comments. See you all on the other side ☺️

Finished on a good note today in round 2 of the national high school rodeo. Can’t even express how grateful I am to have ridden this horse, Wowzer! I would like to say a big thank Tanya Jolovich, TeAnna Jolovich, Todd Jolovich and Wyatt Schmit. Another big thank you to my Mum, Candice McDonald for hauling me around the world, literally. My last thanks goes to all of my amazing sponsors, I just could not have made it over here without your support. My high school rodeo career may have come to an end today but I know that there a bigger and better things to come my way!!

Lucky enough to have a go at the jackpot today to get our confidence back up after the first round. We had a beautiful clean run which is just what we needed. We ended up placing fourth as well so pretty happy.

Bit of tough luck in the first round with a knocked pole and then on the way back up Wowzer decided it would be a good idea to jump the pole and popped me out of my seat but at least I didn’t hit the dirt. Hopefully we will have more luck in the second round which isn’t until Saturday

Just a heads up that I have my first round of pole bending tonight for the national high school finals. A little nervous but mostly excited! This will be live streamed on the cowboy channel if you are interested in watching the high school finals. It’s kicks off 7:00pm Sunday night which is Monday around 12:00pm.

Horses are settling down nicely, got them out of there stalls today to stretch the legs and give them a whirl around the arena.
