Our team hit the road last week 🚗

Shilo and Kieran recently traveled from Alice Springs to Tennant Creek, focusing on building community connections and growing the game. Along the way, they delivered 7 accreditation courses!

The trip included visits to both Tennant Creek High School and Tennant Creek Primary School, getting 60 students active and learning new Touch Football skills.

To cap off the visit, over 30 local residents came out for a Wednesday evening community game! While Shilo and Kieran officiated, newly accredited local referees took to the field to gain valuable hands-on experience behind the whistle.

A huge thank you to everyone in Tennant Creek and the Barkly region who joined in. We can’t wait to see the sport continue to grow across the region!

The U14 Girls NT Devils team is heading to the National Youth Championships in Coffs Harbour, and are fundraising to help the team get there!

The Touch Football Australia team recently wrapped up a week-long series of community visits across the NT, connecting with local associations, government representatives, and community leaders in Alice Springs, Tennant Creek, Katherine, and Darwin.

Key highlights from the trip included:

📈 Celebrating Katherine Touch Association Inc. 45% growth in participation
🌾 Visiting remote communities around Alice Springs for opportunities for grassroots growth
🏉 Exploring new off-season program opportunities at rugby league facilities in Darwin
