The box draw is locked in and Tuesday night is shaping up to be a big one at Winnellie Park, with the Winnellie Cup taking centre stage! 🐾

After three cracking heats last Tuesday, the finalists are back to battle it out over the 383m for Winnellie Cup honours. It's the feature we've been building towards and a great excuse to get trackside for your Tuesday night fix.

And there's plenty more racing around the Cup, with a full card of action to keep things moving throughout the evening.

There are trainers preparing their dogs, track staff keeping everything running, kitchen staff cooking up a storm, bar staff keeping everyone refreshed, officials, suppliers and plenty more behind the scenes.

🏁 Tuesday Night Done & Dusted at Winnellie Park!

Another Tuesday night of racing is in the books, with nine races, some cracking finishes, three Winnellie Cup heats and, importantly, a very strong showing from the parmis out of the kitchen. 😂🐔

🐾 Race 1 – SBA Office National Dash (383m) saw Bart’s Chance get the night underway for Andrew Lasker, winning in 22.62. Extra Pineapple for Simon Nathanael was second in 22.69, with Steele Bolton’s So Naive third in 22.74.

🏆 Race 2 – Winnellie Cup Heat 1 (383m) was an absolute beauty, with Bing Bing Secret winning for Steele Bolton in 22.09, just ahead of kennelmate Ritza Duane in 22.10. Andrew Lasker’s Flip Your Fifty rounded out the placings in 22.24.

🐾 Race 3 – Asian-United Food Service Dash (312m) went the way of Richard Carr’s Zero Point in 18.33. Mum Knows Best for Rob Brown was right behind in 18.36, with Steele Bolton’s Bluey Baby third in 18.37. Blink and you would have missed them!

🏆 Race 4 – Winnellie Cup Heat 2 (383m) saw Bing Bing Slayer make it another heat win for Steele Bolton, also stopping the clock at 22.09. Alesha Shepard’s Stockman George was second in 22.15, with Our Girl Franky for Cody Steele third in 22.24.

🐾 Race 5 – Sky Racing Dash (312m) belonged to Celsius for Ronald Phillips, who flew around in 17.94. Impress Tilly for Cody Steele finished second in 18.13, with Richard Carr’s Rooster Jazz third in 18.19.

🏆 Race 6 – Winnellie Cup Heat 3 (383m) saw Brave Ember deliver the quickest heat of the night for Ronald Phillips, winning in a sharp 21.98. Adam Poulter’s Resilient was second in 22.10, while Zero Control for Steele Bolton finished third in 22.15.

🐾 Race 7 – Old Mates Bakery Dash (312m) went to Bull’s Chance for Anne Ferns in a slick 17.92. Steele Bolton’s Control Bubba was second in 18.19, with Alesha Shepard’s Territory Girl third in 18.29.

🐾 Race 8 – BTC Constructions Dash (383m) saw Ronald Phillips strike again with Canya Negotiate winning in 22.13. Here Comes Foxy for Alesha Shepard took second in 22.26, while Anne Ferns’ Go Jo was third in 22.31.

🐾 Race 9 – Arafura Catering Equipment Dash (312m) finished the night with another Ronald Phillips winner as Chronic saluted in 18.03. Dirty Dancing for Rob Brown and Bear The Brunt for Steele Bolton both clocked 18.10 in second and third respectively, with just 0.06 lengths separating them.

Ronald Phillips certainly had the hot hand with four winners for the meeting, while Steele Bolton collected two. Andrew Lasker, Richard Carr and Anne Ferns all added a winner to their tally.

And away from the track, we need to give the Tuesday night parmis the recognition they deserve — absolutely elite. 😂👌 The dogs were flying and the kitchen was firing!
