With the introduction of our new Championship and Open divisions, we've updated the event standards to create an exciting and competitive contest for athletes of all experience levels.
The Championship Division has been designed to identify the strongest athletes in the Territory and crown the Darwin's Strongest 2026 Champion.

📢 Darwin's Strongest 2026 – Event Update
After reviewing competitor numbers and talking with a number of athletes, we've made the decision to postpone Darwin's Strongest to Saturday, 22 August 2026.
This extra time will give more athletes the opportunity to enter and allow us to deliver the quality competition that the Territory deserves.
We're also introducing a new competition format to make the event more accessible while continuing to provide a pathway for experienced athletes.
🏆 Championship Division For experienced athletes competing for the title of Darwin's Strongest and national-level qualification opportunities.
💪 Open Division Open to all athletes looking to challenge themselves, gain competition experience, or step onto the Strongman competition floor.
To better suit each division, event weights will be adjusted, with the updated weights and event standards announced over the coming days.
One of my goals has always been to create opportunities for local Strongman athletes to compete here in the Territory while building pathways to national-level competition. I believe these changes will create a more enjoyable and competitive experience for everyone, regardless of where they are in their Strongman journey.
If you've been thinking about entering, now is the perfect time. Whether you're chasing the title of Darwin's Strongest or looking to compete in your first competition, we'd love to have you involved.
A huge thank you to everyone who has already entered and supported the event. Existing entries will automatically transfer to the new date, and I'll be in touch with registered athletes directly.
