Taking on the role with both hands, Wanderers are thrilled to announce our very own Wonder Woman, Shan Girl, as our amazing u9’s Coach! Taking on the mini-est of Muks, Shan will make sure our girls always feel seen, supported and given the repertoire they deserve. A little team with a whole lot of heart and small but mighty! We can’t wait to see Shan bring her energy, care and magic to the girls!

Wanderers Football Club mourns the passing of Jonathon Yalandhu, a talented footballer and much-respected remote player of our club.

Jonathon joined Wanderers from Millingimbi and, at just 18 years of age, won the club’s Best & Fairest in his first senior season in 1972–73.

A proud footballer whose contribution to Wanderers will always be remembered.

The Wanderers are pumped to announce the signing of Elijah Reid, a 23 year old Ruckman-Forward relocating to Darwin to join the club for the season!

Coming to us from the Western Eagles in the Colac District Football Netball League, Elijah is a key position weapon whose relentless follow up work rate and effort at every contest make him a nightmare to match up on, competing just as hard at ground level as he does in the air.

His recent consistent performances across the past two seasons speaks for itself: named at Centre Half Forward in the 2025 CDFNL Team of the Year, a multiple interleague representative, and recently announced as co-captain for the 2026 representative game are just some of his recent achievements, accolades and experiences he will be bringing to Wanderers this season

On making the move north, Elijah said: "I knew a few people from Lorne in my league that came up and played last year and really enjoyed it. Chris Huxtable got me in touch with Tim Friend to make the connection with Wanderers." 🙌

We can't wait to see Elijah fly in the Blue and Gold this season!
