Bit of an update….

I am trying a change to my knife making process. Usually the last step in the process is sharpening the completed knife, this often results in some minor scratches in the hand sanded finished blade….absolutely maddening. Trying to sand out scratches when the handle is already on is almost impossible to do properly. So I am sharpening the blade when the finish is at 400 grit…..now to finish it to 800 grit without slicing my fingers off….lets see shall we 🤷♂️

Template done, leather cut out…time to make a sheath!

Handle scales roughly shaped, small recesses and chamfered pin holes to add extra grab for the epoxy! Now to finish hand sanding the blade.
