WELCOME BACK TO DARWIN, COACH CJ!

Lockdown Academy is excited to announce that Colbye “CJ” Jackson will be relocating from his hometown of Las Vegas, USA, to Darwin, Australia, arriving in mid-February 2027 to take on the role of Coaching Director of Lockdown Academy Darwin. 🔒🏀

CJ will take over from Coach Brodie Lawton, who will return to his hometown of Toowoomba early next year to begin building the next chapter of Lockdown Academy Toowoomba.

This is an exciting step forward as Lockdown Academy continues to grow in both Darwin and Toowoomba. 📈

Our 8-Week Basketball Development Program is coming to Darwin, commencing Monday, 27 July 2026.

This program is about creating consistent opportunities for young athletes to develop their skills, build confidence, compete and continue progressing their game.

Lockdown Academy – June/July Holiday Development Program

Take your game to the next level these school holidays with the Elevate Hoops NT Lockdown Academy Holiday Development Program.

Designed for boys and girls aged U10–U14, Lockdown Academy provides a high-energy, skill-focused environment where young athletes can develop their basketball fundamentals, build confidence, and grow their understanding of the game.

Led by our deadly coaches Tristan Afamasaga and Nicolas Salumu, athletes will participate in six specialised development sessions across two weeks,

focusing on:
Ball handling and dribbling
Shooting technique and scoring skills
Footwork and movement efficiency
Defensive principles
Basketball IQ and decision-making
Confidence, leadership, and teamwork
