Vegas Larfield moves to 15-1, against an undefeated, power-punching Filipino who came to fight.

This was Vegas’s second fight back following a year out with elbow surgery, and he’s continuing to find his rhythm.. well done mate 🥊

He’s back in action again in just six weeks, to keep that momentum rolling! 👊

What a tournament.

A huge congratulations to Boxing Queensland Official on putting together an outstanding Golden Gloves with 900+ entrants. With numbers like that, it’s a massive task to get a tournament of this size running smoothly and it’s a credit to everyone involved. 👏🏼

It’s tournaments like this that show just how strong boxing is becoming and that the sport is heading in the right direction. 👊

For All Star Boxing Academy, we had a big week of boxing, with the team coming away with 8 🥇

Plenty of hard fights, plenty of lessons, and plenty of moments that will make us better moving forward.

A massive thank you to all the parents, family and supporters who came out and got behind the team. Having you screaming from the stands makes a difference and means a lot to our fighters.

Thank you to all our coaches for the countless hours behind the scenes, and to every fighter who stepped through the ropes and gave everything they had. Win, lose or draw you represented yourself and the club with pride.

And a huge thank you to our club sponsors for continuing to support our team and help us do what we do.

This morning we had the privilege of welcoming Jye Dixon home after his incredible Commonwealth Games gold medal performance in Glasgow.

Seeing so many familiar faces at the airport to celebrate such a special achievement was something we’ll never forget. Moments like these remind us what hard work, dedication and the support of a great community can achieve.

A truly proud day for Jye, his family, All Star Boxing and Australia.
