What a fantastic start to the season for Kulin Copperheads Sports Club!

Our first game of the 2026 Mid Year Cricket Association season was played on Sunday, 3rd May 2026 against Eastern Knights — and we’re proud to say… WE WON THE GAME! 🏆👏

An outstanding 𝘿𝙚𝙗𝙪𝙩 innings for the Copperheads, scoring a brilliant 51 retired not out* from just 25 balls! 🔥
His innings included 3 fours and 3 sixes, showing pure class and power on debut! 💥

🌟 𝑱𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒍 𝑨𝒉𝒎𝒂𝒅𝒛𝒂𝒊
Another incredible performance with a classy 52 retired not out* off 29 balls, helping lead the team to a strong victory! 👏🔥

A massive effort from the entire squad, coaching staff, and supporters. This is only the beginning for the Copperheads! 🧡🖤

Our home ground is “Police Paddocks Reserve Oval 01” with 5 games to be played at home.

We are back into MYCA – Mid Year Cricket Association, this year playing South Division 3, Sunday this season.

There has been a couple of changes in the leadership as we have a new ex captains coming back.

Starting with a well-deserved pending post!!

Our boys had an incredible season in the 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐂𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐭 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 , finishing as 𝗥𝗨𝗡𝗡𝗘𝗥 𝗨𝗣 in what was an exciting and hard-fought tournament.

It was a season full of effort, passion and resilience. After narrowly making it into the Top 4, the Copperheads showed true spirit stepping up when it mattered most. The team went on to win both the 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐞-𝐄𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥, 𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐞.

Although we fell just short in the end, it was a brilliant campaign from the entire squad. Every player contributed, every moment counted, and the club is proud of the fight shown throughout the season.

The following would be the team for Round 10 “Southern Cricket Association” against “Melbourne Blues SC at “Lois Twohig Reserves” in a home game.

7 wins out of 10 games so far. Still on the top of the ladder, with 5 games to go team look in a better
position for the finals.

Tough day at the office for us in Round 09 against Casey Tuskers CC.
Started strong with a 130/0 opening partnership, but unfortunately, we collapsed and got bowled out for 200, losing the game.

Despite the loss, we're still sitting at the top of the ladder with equal points and a solid RunRate!

Due to the overnight rain and drizzle on the day overs were reduced due change of ground and rain.
Team secured a fantastic win against Casey Maroons CC. We came out on top by 56 runs, showcasing some excellent performances across the board.

This victory is especially sweet as it keeps us at the top of the ladder! With just 6 more games to go, the stakes are high, but the team's spirit is even higher. Let's carry this momentum forward and finish strong.
