Golf is not an easy game, every time you tee it up you are met with many challenges. Therefore it is important to practice your game to improve.
We encourage our members and social players to do so at the club.
The club has a 300 metres long practice range, along with both a practice chipping green and putting green.
We offer the use of these at no charge, apart from a very generous rate for range balls.
So why then do people feel the need to use the actual fairway and hit multiple balls into a green that is part of the course.
No I don't know either, but rest assured that the people responsible will be asked to leave the facility and not return if we find this again.
You may have gotten away with it this time, but next you may not be so lucky.
Our staff work extremely hard to provide a course for everyone to use, treat it like your own backyard.
Rant over.

The clubs 100th Anniversary weekend kicked off with a fabulous day on the greens on Friday. 126 players took part in the 2 Person ambrose event kindly supported by Johnsons Motor Group and City Country Insurance Brokers.
The major draw card of a motor vehicle being given away for the 1st hole in one on the 18th unfortunately went begging. The nearest to the hole being about 1 metre away. The Rotary Club of Dalby manned the hole to act as official adjudicators and along the way received some generous donations from players.
Winners for the day was Craig Brennan and John Gwynne, 2nd place to Bradley Scoins and Darren Teale. Third to Ducky Henricks and Mark Henderson.
Approaches to Phil Ryan, Tom Linskey and Peter Francis.
Thank you to James Tresillian of Johnsons Motor Group for supplying the prizes to the day.
To our visiting players, thank you for visiting us. We hope you had a great day.
Our weekend continues with our anniversary dinner tonight with special guest Nick O'Hern.
Tomorrow we will host 144 players for our open carnival and the 2nd round of the RDO Shield.
