The 2026/27 summer season is getting closer, and it’s time to get back to work! Senior training kicks off this week with structured sessions every Tuesday and Thursday.

A massive weekend of finals cricket and some outstanding individual performances across our Sunday A1 and Sunday B4 sides! 💚💛

🔥 Yash Kapoor leads the way with an unbeaten 143, closely followed by Darryn Fowler’s 140 — the pair combining for an incredible 304-run partnership.

🎯 With the ball, Khush Dalwadi produced a brilliant 4/12, while Justin Wade, Trent Palmer and Sid Bhalla all picked up three wickets.

🏏🔥 PLAYER HIGHLIGHT | A PARTNERSHIP TO REMEMBER!

Two Pine Rivers players produced something pretty special at the crease, combining for an incredible 304-run partnership!

⭐Yash Kapoor — 143* off 154 balls
⭐ Darryn Fowler — 140 off 132 balls

Yash carried his bat unbeaten with a brilliant 143*, while Darryn produced an outstanding 140 at the other end.

But the standout number — 304 RUNS TOGETHER AT THE CREASE!

A partnership of that size doesn't come around very often. It takes concentration, patience and plenty of quality batting to spend that long in the middle and put together more than 300 runs as a pair.

An outstanding achievement from Yash and Darryn and certainly one worth celebrating! 👏🏏

DOUBLE SEMI VICTORY!!

A great weekend for our A1 and B4 Sunday sides, who
both make it into Grand Final day next Sunday!

A1s charged to a dominant victory over Macgregor, a
record 304-run partnership between Yash Kapoor and
Darryn Fowler proving far too much for chasing, with 3
-fers from Justin Wade and skipper Trent Palmer
cleaning up the opposition for 108.

The Saturday B3 side unfortunately drew their season
to a close this week, going down by 7 wickets away to
Albany Creek.

Sunday B4 held on for a brilliant semi-final win in
Sandstone Point against Waraba, an inspired 4/12 from
Khush Dalwadi firing home a tight defence of 208; put
together with 40s from Pushkar Singh and Ryan
Emerson.

A big weekend for our Pineys teams as we approach the business end of the Winter season!

Our A-Grade Sunday side have progressed UNBEATEN into the semi-finals, and Trent Palmer's men will look to continue the charge against MacGregor at home on the top oval.

The Saturday B3 team continue their fight for finals in a two-day encounter away at Albany Creek, and do so in a strong position, early strikes from Leroy Ware and Dylan Formosa having reduced the top-ranked side to 2/14 in their pursuit of 141.

Sid Bhalla's Sunday B4 side have made it two teams so far into finals, and their semi-final matchup comes away in Sandstone Point against Waraba. The team have won 3 of 4 completed matches this season, and form another formidable Pine Rivers side.
