Masuo team Japan with his Gun , Cutaway fish and Mid length Magic many years ago we started working together and he has had nearly every model I made over the years customised of course to suit every situation and surf type he came across with his feed back I have learnt more as a shaper over the years . this is his favourite quiver we all get to a time as surfers that surfing is just second nature and our choices become easer and flow is the connection that drives our passion. Hey darc how are ya?!
I was waiting to get some photos of the trip to send with a big thanks but haven’t received them yet!!

Just wanted to say thanks, the boards went epic and were reliable and tough as…surfed solid waves and a lot of the “off the shelf” boards barely held up, creases and gnarly compressions everywhere. Even lost a couple over the reef after 2 leggies failed and got them back with some minor reef rash!!!
Held up so well that I paddled back to the boat changed leggies and then got one of my most memorable barrels - round as straight after…Bintangs were on after that one!!!

Cheers again Darc - will catch up soon when you’re at the shed so I can share the stories (and hopefully some photos) over a beer!!

Something special about a longtime customer asking for a particular shaped gun he said a older 80s inspired gun for Victorian waves big Bell and the south coast 7’2-18 3/8- 2 5/8 something a little smoother wide point forward vee bee bottom a small swallow with a quad fin setup . I spent the start of my shaping career living in Jan Juc Victoria working at and surfing a lot . The Surfer shapers ruled in that little town and they all surfed amazing. it wasn’t hard to see what worked best I loved the way Greg Brown surfed and shaped and I’m sure he had some of the best mentors so this little puppy is a throwback to time well spent in Vic working surfing and loving a young family . The boys at glass lab did the shape proud and thank you to Brett the sprayer perfect colour match to the order and clean lines . And a new logo for colour thanks to Izac and Poppy from Thanks to all !!

It a real pleasure shaping boards for good humans Beau has been getting custom boards for over 10 years he’s been really involved with the creation of the next step to evolve his surfing ever improving his experience in the water this year we made a quiver for his annual mentalities trip with his legend mates who pitched in and got him a 40th birthday present, and completed his quiver with a step up gun 6’4 happy day Beau . , , , , , , , , , , brother from another mother 😊
