An incredible night at the EFNL Junior Presentation Night, with some outstanding recognition for our players, coaches and our whole club.

We are incredibly proud of Jonah, Johnny, Cooper and Courtney. Each recognition is so well deserved and a fantastic reflection of the talent, commitment and people we have at Croydon.

And being named Junior Club of the Year is something our entire Croydon community can be proud of.

This award belongs to our players, coaches, team managers, volunteers, committee, parents, families and supporters. So many people give their time and energy to make our club what it is, and this recognition belongs to all of you.

A pretty special way to finish an incredible 2026 season.

💙 THANK YOU, BRAD 💙

Today marks the end of an era at Croydon Junior Football Club, with Brad stepping down as President after several years at the helm.

It’s hard to put into words just how much Brad has given to our club.

During his time as President, Croydon has almost doubled in player numbers — a reflection of his tireless work building our Auskick program, bringing new families into the club and his constant drive to see Croydon grow and succeed.

He has worked hard to strengthen the relationship between our junior and senior clubs, helping create a stronger pathway and a real sense that we are all part of one Croydon.

But perhaps what sums Brad up best are the countless things most people never saw.

The hours behind the scenes. The phone calls. The meetings. Setting up on Sunday mornings. Manning the BBQ. Being there when something needed to be done — and very often being one of the first to put his hand up and just get on with it.

Brad leaves the club in an incredibly strong position, and we are enormously grateful for the time, energy and heart he has given to Croydon Junior Football Club.

On behalf of our players, families, volunteers and committee — thank you, Brad. You should be incredibly proud of what you have helped build.

As one chapter closes, another begins, and we are also very pleased to welcome Marc Oettinger and Michael Ramadan as our incoming Joint Presidents.

Both Marc and Michael already have a strong connection to our club, and we look forward to seeing them build on the foundations that have been laid and lead Croydon into its next chapter.

At Croydon, we’re proud of the culture we continue to build around a TEAM FIRST mentality — supporting your teammates, playing your role and working hard for each other.

We want our players to enjoy their footy, challenge themselves, build great friendships and be part of a club where everyone contributes.

A huge congratulations to Courtney on this well-deserved recognition. Her commitment, passion and contribution to our first dedicated girls team, and her support to the players has been outstanding, and we’re thrilled to see her recognised by the league.

To also be nominated for Club of the Year is something our entire Croydon community can be proud of. It reflects the enormous contribution of our committee, coaches, team managers, volunteers, players and families who make our club what it is.

Whatever the result, we’re incredibly proud to be recognised alongside some fantastic people and clubs across the EFNL.
