Trial night for our Accumulative Points Tournament went fairly well i think! A few things to fine tune for after school holidays when we start for real.

We have an exciting new concept to finish off our year. Rather than have a whole heap of tournament nights we are going to have an individual points tournament (APT) but played in random teams each night.
Im excited for this concept that Jason K has developed and thought alot about!

The concept:
Each night you will be put in a team by random (2xA Grade and 2xB Grade players similar to the winter fixtures we just had)
Everyone will have their own handicap. Singles will be one game first to 21. Doubles will be two games first to 21. (Doubles handicap will be worked out by combining the two players handicap and dividing by 2)

You will have an individual score at the end of the night, even though you are playing in a team this is more of an individual tournament. All your points add up to have a final winner at the end of the tournament. If you miss a night you can but you risk falling behind on the ladder!

1. If you would like to be apart of our new Accumulative Points Tournament (I'll fill you in on that in another post)
2. What local charity do you think we should give our proceeds from our charity night to

On Saturday night a team of 12 of our A Grade players headed into Toowomba for our annual match! As always it was a great night playing against different people. Toowoomba won on 3 out of 4 tables however it was close with Toowoomba winning a total of 24 matches and Crows Nest 20!

I was reminded what an all round sport table tennis truly is! We played against not only a 12 year old girl but an 86 year old man too! I just love how its a sport for anyone 🏓
