Grateful we had the opportunity to visit Bomana War Cemetery while in PNG. Standing in a place that holds so much history.

So many people gave everything during World War II, many of them far from home. Walking through the cemetery and seeing the rows of graves was a powerful reminder of the sacrifice, courage and lives behind the history we learn about.

It was important for us to take some time away from the dancing and everything else happening on this trip to simply learn, reflect and pay our respects.

A humbling experience we won’t forget.
