From little things, big things grow. 🌱

A chance conversation between my lovely friend, Kate Bennett, in Australia and Labosa in Kenya sparked something extraordinary.

Together, they have helped sponsor the education of 66 children and bring St. Barnabas Sofia Junior School in Homa Bay to life.

In doing so, they have also fulfilled the dream of the wonderful older gentleman pictured here, who always dreamed of building a school on his own land for his community.

Proof that when people connect with open hearts, incredible things can happen.

Magic really does happen when you simply say yes. ✨

This is one my favorite prayers of surrender. It has held me through some particularly tough times, and guides me daily.

I had a sense to share it today, maybe it’s for you.

I give my life to you god to guide today

Today I will not burden myself by thinking I need to run the universe

I needn’t control anyone or anything.

I need only to show up fully with my heart, committed to my excellence.

I surrender everything to God, who lives within me.

Every burden and decision I place in gods hands.

I know that as I do so I will be led to divine right thought and action.

The universe will arrange itself on my behalf.

How wonderful it is to relax at last and fall back into the arms of God.

It is not a stiff neck but a soft heart that will guide my course of action.

I will not forget to trust in God today.

It was an honour to sponsor the Friends for Justice Mothers Day event at .

An incredible organization empowering women in Kilifi to break cycles of poverty and protect children from gender-based violence and exploitation.

As the 25 mums had time out on the rooftop with Alice from Zoca Dance creating a fun filled space with movement and laughter, Paige leading us in yoga and I facilitated a breath-work and meditation finale.

The 28 children cooked lunch with the chefs, and then took care of the mums serving them lunch, pampering them with massage and even animal card readings.

After which the pool came alive with splashes and laughter …

Immaculate was the experience of my most loved birthday present

I’m so blessed to have so much love in my life and to be surrounded by truly exceptional people, my life is truly immaculate. 🤍

The ever changing tide at our local Bofa Beach - a reminder of the ocean’s moods, with so much resemblance to our own emotions.

As we step into the new year, may we embrace the ebb and flow, finding beauty in every tide.

Let’s carry this rhythm into our days, moving with intention and grace through all that lies ahead for 2025.

Bougainvillea is abundant at Tarangau, it never ceases to amaze us that so much beauty can thrive even in a sometimes tough dry climate. Living proof that you can feminine, resilient, hardy, brazen and beautiful all at the same time.

Somehow, some way, some where in the defining moments of my life I ‘accidentally’, serendipitously end up in the mountains.

The majesty of The Dolomites was my gracious host this year.

An experience so deeply nurturing and profound, I’d love to share it with you in May 2025.

Nature, nurture, sunshine, snow, mountain pines, organic cuisine, daily saunas, massage, meditation, breathwork, yoga … and lots of YOU time.
