Another week of play and another positive weekend of results. Not everything has been smoothe sailing, there's lots of work to do with many areas on the court, but we will get there. The results are deceptive, however positive.

💙🤍 ROUND 1 COMPLETE | WHAT A STATEMENT!

MKASCC has kicked off the new season in emphatic fashion, finishing Round 1 with six wins from seven matches!

🔥 U9 Blue: 5–2 ✅
🔥 U11 Blue: 20–1 ✅
🔥 U13 Black: 34–1 ✅
🔥 U13 Blue: 44–0 ✅
🔥 U15–17 Blue: 26–21 ✅
💪 U15–17 Black: 19–22 ❌
🔥 U15–17 White: 24–4 ✅

An outstanding day across the club, with dominant defensive performances, free-flowing attack and incredible teamwork. To finish the round with a +118 goal differential shows the standard our players and coaches are setting from day one.

There will be tougher challenges ahead, but this is a brilliant foundation to build on. Congratulations to every player, coach, team manager, volunteer and family who represented the blue and white today.

The dust is yet to settle on the season just finished, we are already prepping for the next season which starts in 2 weeks.

This next season will mark 3 years of competing in the craigieburn competition. We have done and achieved a lot in this time.

🏆 MKASCC WOLVES – UA15–17 CRAIGIEBURN NETBALL ASSOCIATION CHAMPIONS 🏆

Champions.

It's easy to celebrate the trophy. It's much harder to appreciate the journey it took to get there.

When this season began, we didn't even have a full squad. Week by week we recruited, searched, and hand-picked players who we believed could become something special.

Six weeks into the season, we were sitting dead last on the ladder.

To everyone else, we were just another struggling team.

To our coach... we were anything but.

Game after game we were losing by one point. Three points. Matches that should have been ours were slipping away through rushed passes, unnecessary turnovers, lapses in defensive pressure, and moments where composure deserted us.

Then came the moment that changed everything.

Holding a 13-goal lead, only to watch it disappear and lose by a single goal.

That loss hurt. The coach gave everyone an earful holding nothing back.

It was our breaking point.

It forced every player and coach to look in the mirror. There were no excuses. No blame. Just a commitment to become better.

From that day forward, this team transformed.

Training became more intense.
Standards became higher.
Accountability became non-negotiable.

Every player bought in.

The reward?

- A 9-game winning streak.
- A charge from the bottom of the ladder to 3rd.
- A Grand Final victory.
- Craigieburn Netball Association UA15–17 Premiers.

This wasn't a team built on superstars.

It was built on resilience.
Belief.
Hard work.
Trust.
And a group of players who refused to let adversity define them.

To every player, every family, every supporter, and every volunteer—thank you for believing.

This premiership wasn't given to us.

It was earned.

Too excited and pumped for the full post, still finding a way to fit all the photos into the frames of all 3 teams, however results of today's games.

Thank you to all for the support and guidance throughout the season, we are now headed into a 2 week break before the next season begins.

MKASCC have entered the ranks as Victor's of CNA UA 15-17s. Big respect to the Wallan Phoenix for giving us a very tight match which went into overtime.

For now, we will enjoy the evening and provide further updates in the coming days.
