Over the weekend, Bek, Billy, George, Michael and Maria took on the 2026 Monash Open! 🏆
George played in his very first tournament in Division 5 and gave it his all! He even defeated Billy along the way 😅 and finished 12th. A great first tournament experience! 💪
Billy also played in Division 5 and came up with some high-IQ tactics, including asking his opponent what he finds the hardest thing about squash… and his opponent actually answered 😂 Billy finished 15th.
Michael competed in Division 3. It wasn’t the smoothest tournament for him, but he gave it a good crack and finished 14th. 💪
Maria played in Division 2 for the first time! With most of her matches going to five games, she battled hard to finish 10th. A great effort, especially after coming back from injury! 👏
And we saved the best for last… Bek! 🥉 She played in the Women’s Beginners division and finished an amazing 3rd place! This was Bek’s second tournament and her first top 3 finish. She has improved so much since her last tournament—well done, Bek! 🎉
We all had a great weekend, created some awesome memories and had plenty of fun along the way. Hopefully, even more of our players can join us next time—the more, the merrier! 💙🧡
