Summer Season runs from September to March each year and Winter Cross Country Season runs from April to August each year.
Little Athletics is a great way for children aged between 5 and 16 to exercise, learn new skills, have fun and make new friends. Once a child turns five they are eligible to compete. Our summer season runs from October to March and cross country runs from April to August.

That's a wrap for the Little Athletics Victoria & Northern Metro Region - Little Athletics Victoria Cross Country Season 2026
We were proud to award our best and brightest stars of 2026 Cross Country season at the Craigieburn Little Athletics Centre Inc XC awards last night
Congratulations to all our athletes and their super efforts over the season, recognising winners of Age Group, Coach and Grit & Grind awards
Thank you again to the families who volunteered across the season and also brought a plate to share, the food selection was excellent
Across Summer and Winter we are proud to announce we topped 300+ members!
The future is bright.
Details for the upcoming 26-27’ season of events will be available soon. But in the meantime, enjoy the break and see you soon!
