Cowra Golf Club is described by many as ‘the Best Course West of the Blue Mountains’. 18 Holes of fully irrigated kikuyu fairways and very well maintained bent greens form part of this challenging layout. The 5954m Par 71 has four of the most challenging finishing holes on any course that makes playing Cowra Golf Course memorable.

And… we have won the Blair Cup for 2026!! We really appreciate all the Murrumbidgee golfers who embarked on the journey. Thank you to all Cowra golfers who partook in the event. Let’s make sure we get a good group together to head to Murrumbidgee next year. Thank you to the Bowling club for the pizza’s and our green staff for the presentation of the course.

This week we have our annual clash against Murrumbidgee Golf Club. The Blair Cup event returns to Cowra this year and there are still some vacancies if you would like to represent Cowra in our quest to raise the Blair Cup in victory!
There is also a single stableford event run in conjunction.

The weather is looking fantastic and the course is in great order.

NOTICE OF AGM

The Cowra Golf Club Mens Committee AGM will be held on Saturday the 10th of October at 5.30pm at the Golf Club.

Al positions will be declared vacant.

If you want to see golf in Cowra continue to flourish think about nominating for the committee.

Congratulations to the combined Lachlan Valley team who were victorious today over Trundle 4-2 in Round 1 of the Golf NSW Encourage Shield at neighbouring Forbes Golf Club. This competition is handicap matchplay aimed at developing the competitive skills of junior golfers from all over the state.

The Lachlan Valley team comprises three players from Cowra, two from Grenfell and two from Canowindra. Cowra Golf Club was represented today by Pip Newham and Hudson Turnewitsch, with Hudson victorious in his match.

A big thank you to all the parents who travelled with the kids today, and also to Forbes Golf Course NSW for hosting. Our next round is against Oberon at Duntryleague later this month.
