🐞 FINALS DAY 1 has arrived!

Semi finals week 1 is here - we are so proud of our finalists 🐞

13 teams are playing this week, with 7 having the chance to head straight through to the GRAND FINAL. Games start at 9.10am through to 4.05pm.

We need you there!! Come along and support our Beetles family today, we can't wait to see you all on the sidelines!!

Shay has been diligently working on her umpiring this season and showcased that in a strong game today. Her hard work has earned her a silver badge! Congratulations Shay 👏

BEETLES JUNIOR BREAKUP!

We’re wrapping up another fantastic Beetles season with our Junior Mini Games & Breakup.

📅 Monday 31 August
⏰ 4.30pm – 6.00pm
👧🧒 Ages 7–12 years

It’s going to be an afternoon of:
⭐ Mini matches and fun games
🏆 End-of-season trophies and presentations
🎉 Fun challenges and prizes
🌏 And plenty of Beetles fun to finish the season

DRESS UP! Teams can come dressed however they like – including representing their favourite country or sporting team! Get creative and have some fun with it!

We can’t wait to celebrate the season with all our junior Beetles players, coaches and families. ❤️🖤🐞

💗 PINK DAY IS THIS SATURDAY! 💗

This Saturday 8 August, we’re turning the courts into a SEA OF PINK in support of Share the Dignity! 🌸

We encourage all players, coaches, managers, umpires, spectators and visitors to wear pink and help us raise awareness and funds for Australians experiencing period poverty.

If you’re dressing in pink, please bring along a gold coin donation, with all proceeds going directly to Share the Dignity.

We’re also collecting brand-new, unopened period products outside the Admin Building, including:
• Pads
• Tampons
• Maternity & incontinence pads
• Reusable pads
• Period-proof underwear
• Menstrual cups

👟 Players: Please remember your full club uniform must still be worn (pink socks are welcome!), and all pink accessories must be safe for play.

🎀 Everyone else: The brighter, the better! We’d love to see our coaches, managers, families and supporters go all out in pink.

Last year, our amazing community raised almost $2,000 through gold coin donations. Let’s beat that in 2026! 💕

Massive CONGRATULATIONS to these 2 superstars (Ava and Cartier) who spent this week in Melbourne competing for Qld in the National Netball Schoolgirls u15y Championships. Their silverware and their plaques tell it all - medals and ALL AUSTRALIAN SELECTION.

CARNIVAL DAY AT DOWNEY PARK! 🖤❤️

What a fantastic day of netball for Beetles 19 and Beetles 22 at the 2026 DPNA + Madison Sport Club Carnival at Downey Park today! 🏐🐞

Our Beetles 19 (10 Years) had an incredible carnival, finishing the day UNDEFEATED! 🔥Such a brilliant effort from the girls, with great teamwork and plenty of Beetles spirit on display.

Our Beetles 22 (9 Years) hit the grass courts for a big day of netball, taking on some tough competition and having plenty of fun along the way. And judging by the team jump and those BIG smiles, they had an absolute ball! ❤️

A huge well done to both teams, their coaches, managers, families and supporters for another fantastic day representing Beetles 🐞🏐
