700 Yard F-Class – Glenn

🎯 Congratulations to our shooters from today’s combined Fly Shoot! 🎯

It was a cracker of a day, with some challenging windy conditions keeping everyone on their toes!

🏆 200 Yard Fly Shoot
Jason Milton and John Ireland both managed to take out the fly in some seriously tricky wind. Nice shooting, fellas!

🎯 500 Yard Fly Shoot
Quentin Dickson put in a strong performance with a great grouping effort and, most importantly, a successful fly hit! 💥🪰

A big thank you to Jason Stevenson from Boston Bay Smallgoods for donating his delicious snags for the BBQ. As usual, they were bloody good — definitely the best snags in town! 👌

And a special commiseration mention goes to Kris Arbon...
Just when we thought you couldn't get any closer to the fly in the 200 Yard shoot without actually hitting it, Kris decided to double down and put in a painstakingly close effort!
So close... yet somehow still not close enough. 😂

All in all, a fantastic day had by everyone. Great shooting, great company, great food — and just enough wind to keep things interesting!

⏰ 12:00pm – Steel Challenge Handgun / Sh***un – Paul 🔫

Plenty happening, so come along, have a shoot and see if you can hit the fly instead of just feeding it! 😂🪰

🎯 Hello Shooters! 🎯

We’ve got a FLY Shoot Double Header coming up this weekend! 🪰🔫

The 200-yard .22LR Fly Shoot will kick things off at 10:00am.

Then we’ll take a well-earned break for a BBQ lunch 🌭🔥 before getting back into it for the 500-yard Centrefire Fly Shoot in the afternoon!

It’s shaping up to be a great day of shooting, food and good company. 😎

Please comment on this post if you’re intending to come along, as I need to get an idea of numbers for the BBQ.
