THE TIP OF THE ICEBERG

We have over 160 surfboards on display at the Australian National Surfing Museum (and a similar number in storage), here is ten of them displayed along our wave wall. Klemm- Bell Wayne Lynch shape, Ted Spencer White Kite, Fred Pyke diamond tail, Shane Terry Fitz shaped fiirst gen twin fin, Reno Abellira Bolt gun, Hot Buttered wing pin (full mural by Martyn Worthington one of Fitzy's personal boards), Bertlemann twin fin, McCoy no nose for Dooma with Wicks Surf Shop logos and a replica of the board Cheyne Horan rode to win the Bells Contest in 84 (we have since dug up an original Horan blue blob.) Just a small sample of the epic boards we have on display at the museum. What is your favourite?
