Congratulations to Josh Armstrong for winning the Papua New Guinea Open!! Josh had a total of 14 under for his 4 rounds of golf. Rookie Coby Carruthers finished 6th at 8 under and Jason Hong finished at 1under respectively.

Australian Schools Team Championships:
Alicia Luo and Tsawm Laphai both qualified to represent NSW, the team of six players won 6-0 over the ACT yesterday in Melbourne.

Challenger PGA Tour of Australasia head to Papua New Guinea for the PNG Open, this is the first international Professional tournament for
Coby Carruthers and Blake Phillips.

Jason Hong and Josh Armstrong are also some of the favourites.

Our Concord Golf Club Junior update!!

We are very lucky to have a great depth in talented juniors at Concord, we endeavour to support each and everyone of them.
This week we have seen Jordyn Deen travel to play the Singapore Open Amateur finishing in a fantastic 8th position, what a great opportunity that was for her.
Ti Fox represented Australia at the USWING MOJING junior champs at Torrey Pines, unfortunately it just wasn’t Ti’s week.
Alicia Luo is currently playing 3 junior events in America as part of the AJGA series, Alicia finished 3rd in her latest event in Georgia, no doubt a win won’t be far away.
Our newest recruit Haohua (James) Sun won the NSW Jnr champs in a titanic battle with last years champion Ti Fox (who had just landed in from the US), in an incredible display of golf from both boys around the tough Magenta Shores layout.

Last but not least we had the 1st Round of the Eric Apperly shield commence. We had 2 teams represented Gold and Silver.
The Gold team had a 5 - 1 win against Avondale Silver at home whilst the Concord Silver team were off to a great start unfortunately ended up losing a tight match 1.5 - 4.5 against Pymble GC

This week we have a reverse home game matches with hope of 2 great results.

Concord Golf Club Junior update:

This week our juniors headed south to Catalina and Moruya GC’s to take on the best juniors in Australia at the 2026 JNJG Age Championships and in conjunction was the Champion of Champions.
Our juniors have had a fantastic week with Jordyn Deen leading the way for the girls finishing 2nd overall and winning the C’O’C’s by a massive 13 shots. Our newest junior Haohua Sun (James) led the way for the boys finishing second overall and winning the C’O’C’s by 10 shots!

After a fantastic result in Rockhampton the boys headed to Emu Park GC, Jason Hong stormed home with a brilliant 9 under par round to finished Tied 1st at 10 under for the 36 hole event.
