Kurt was recognised last night as the 59Club Australia & New Zealand Superintendent of the Year (Under $120 Green Fee) at the Service Excellence Awards held at the Coogee Bay Hotel.

59Club is a globally respected organisation that benchmarks and recognises excellence across the golf industry, making this a significant achievement. Even more impressive, this is Kurt’s second consecutive year winning the award.

This recognition reflects the outstanding work Kurt and his team do in presenting Long Reef Golf Club to the exceptional standard our Members and visitors enjoy every day.

Ready to take the next step after Ravens? Our Ladies Rookies Program is designed for beginner golfers who are ready to build on their skills and gain real On-Course experience.

A supportive and social environment where you’ll continue learning, playing, and growing your confidence out on the Course.

📅 Tuesdays (during school term)
⏰ Clinic times: 9:15am & 10:00am

⛳ What’s included:
• Professional clinic
• 8 holes on course
• Guidance from our Lady Members
• On-Course support from our PGA Professionals

💲 $350 per term (includes all tuition & on-course play)
➕ $210 annual program fee (one off)

Designed for beginners, this relaxed and welcoming program helps you learn the game, build confidence, and have some fun along the way.

Today we proudly hosted the Long Reef Medal & Salver, welcoming over 100 entrants with an incredible 37 clubs represented from across Sydney and regional areas.

Congratulations to our Men’s winner, Jye Halls from NSW Golf Club, who delivered a superb round of 66 (-5) to take out the title.

In the Women’s Salver event, our very own Alyssa Starc claimed victory with an impressive 78 in what were challenging conditions.

The Course presented in fantastic condition, adding to a great day of competition. Thank you to everyone who participated—we look forward to hosting the event again next year.

A full field of 128 players took part in our Masters Monday shotgun start event, following the final group of the US Masters broadcast.

It was a fantastic day played in great spirit, with Members and guests enjoying excellent Course conditions and strong competition across all grades.

A big thank you to our wonderful hospitality team for delivering a fantastic breakfast while everyone watched the final round, setting the tone for the day ahead. The event was followed by both individual and team competitions.
