WHY IS LEARNING NEW SKILLS AS AN ADULT SO HARD? đ
Some of the aberrant thoughts đ of an Adult 𤸠Gymnast! đ¤¸
Adult brain mid round off back tuck:
âWas that enough power?â
âPunch donât p*e yourselfâ
âWAIT⌠when do I tuck?â
âWhy are my arms doing that?â
âWhere is the floor?!â
âWhat if I fall on my neck and end up paralysedđ
âI have work tomorrow.â
âWho convinced me this was a good idea?â
âIs my health insurance up to date?â đ
âABORT. ABORT.â đ¨
âI hope no one saw that!!â
âGod I almost đ
diedâ
âYay I did it!â
âCanât wait for the next sessionâ

I thought I was learning gymnastics.đ¤¸
I was actually learning to believe in myself again.
Age didnât hold me back.
My mindset did.
The moment I changed thatâŚ
Everything else started to change too.
You donât have to be young to start.
You just have to be brave enough to begin.
⨠Age is not the limit. Believing you canât is.
What would u do differently if fear didnt hold u back?

Papua New Guinea left a mark on my heart that I wasnât expecting.
In a world that moves fast, chases more, and constantly asks us to do better, PNG reminded me of something different.
It reminded me that joy doesnât come from what we own.
That community is one of lifeâs greatest gifts.
That resilience can exist alongside hardship.
That kindness transcends language.
That the richest people arenât always the ones with the most possessions.
These photos capture moments of connection, culture, faith, laughter, strength, and perspective. They tell stories of people who welcomed us with open arms and showed us the beauty of living with gratitude for what you have rather than focusing on what you donât.
Travel doesnât just show you new placesâit can change the way you see your own life.
Thank you, Papua New Guinea, for the lessons Iâll carry with me long after the journey has ended. đľđŹâ¤ď¸

Mike and I recorded this the other day with Matt Morley. A raw chat about all things life, family, sport and the ethos that supports our business. An emotional chat at times but probably one we can all resonate with! Enjoy đĽ°
A fresh episode of The DS Download is live!
Matt Morley sits down with Kristy and Mike from FORMA Bettaglia to unpack their journey and philosophy. Instead of chasing volume, they focus on the âmissing middleâ â people who want to feel better, have more energy and train for longevity.
đ Mean more to less people
Itâs about quality over quantity, real coaching and genuine relationships.
A great conversation on mindset, mentorship and why growth comes from action, not hesitation.

Meet client
Emma đ¤
11 months ago Emma started training with meâŚ
and honestly, she wasnât a fan of the gym at all.
She already had a full life â
mum of two, running her own nail business,
dancing twice a week and competing.
The gym just wasnât her thing.
But she still showed up.
Twice a week for boxing and strength sessions.
Some days tired.
Some days unsure.
Some days probably the last place she felt like being.
And nothing about it was instant.
It was just⌠consistent.
Week after week, she kept coming back.
Getting a little bit stronger.
A little bit more comfortable.
A little bit more confident.
Over 11 months:
Bust 85.5 â 81 (-4.5cm)
Waist 75.5 â 72 (-3.5cm)
Hips 92 â 81 (-11cm)
Thigh 59 â 58 (-1cm)
Arm 29 â 28 (-1cm)
No extremes.
No shortcuts.
Just steady, consistent work.
But more than the numbersâŚ
she walks in differently now.
More sure of herself.
More capable.
Like someone who belongs here.
Still a busy mum.
Still dancing.
Still juggling everything.
Just now⌠sheâs doing something for herself too.
Really proud of you Em đ¤

About having great mentors and learning from others that u respect and admire.
