The 2026/27 NCAS Netball Umpires Program is now open for nominations!

Endorsed and supported by Netball NSW, the NCAS Netball Umpires Program provides emerging officials with structured development, mentoring and practical opportunities to build their skills, confidence and experience as they progress through the Netball NSW pathway.

Program Highlights:
🏐 Specialist umpire training and mentoring
🏆 Opportunities to represent NCAS at the Your Local Club Academy Games, RAS Academy Challenge and other events
💪 Education covering nutrition, sports psychology, motivation, leadership and load management
🏋️‍♀️ Access to strength & conditioning sessions

The program is open to emerging umpires aged 14–18 years (born between 2009 and 2013) who are committed to developing their officiating and progressing within the sport.

Nominations close Friday, 25 September 2026.

Trials: Sunday, 11 October 2026

‼️Please communicate with your clubs for any competition information
‼️All games MUST be scored and all jewellery to be removed. Only players that have a medical certificate stating they medically need to have their jewellery in can play with an exemption, please email any medical certificates to [email protected] to be sighted
‼️Umpires will be notified by club umpire Convenors
‼️Teams can not borrow a player to have a sub. You can borrow players to make 7 in total
‼️ Injuries: Any injury or incident please come and see us in the control room so we can report it incase you require insurance
