This past weekend we had the WA youth trials.
Saturday started with the Betty Hislop State Singles followed by the State Doubles, from there the Captains,Managers and selectors took 10 boys and 8 girls through to Sunday to select a side of 4 players and 1 reserve for both boys and girls.

And boy did the kids give the selectors a tough decision.

Important Information for Youth Players and Parents

To all youth players and parents planning to attend the Championships and the Betty Hislop State Singles & Doubles on 18–19 July, please note the following important update.

Following a decision by the State Officials and the Darts WA Committee, the Teams Event originally scheduled for Saturday, 18 July will no longer proceed.

Instead, the Betty Hislop State Singles and State Doubles events will be held on Saturday, 18 July.

Based on performances in these events, the State Captains and Managers will select a State Squad to return on Sunday, 19 July to participate in a trial for selection in the Darts WA State Youth Team, which will travel to Tasmania in January 2027.

The 2027 Darts WA State Youth Team will be announced at the conclusion of the trials on Sunday.

We encourage all eligible youth players to attend on Saturday and take the opportunity to put themselves forward for selection to represent our great state.
