One fine Solstice Beer Mile complete! We had so many first timers lining up under cold and wet conditions, which was incredible to see! Congrats to all and please see individual results: 🍻🏃🍻🏃🍻🏃🍻🏃

It's Winter Solstice Beer Mile eve! 🌙✨️

WSBM started out as a little sister event to our Summer Beer Mile (held every year in January) so that the ABM event team could have a chance to race too 🍻

Traditionally held on the Solstice, this year we race the night before - still one of the shortest, darkest days in winter 🌌 In past years we got cool, crisp clear nights for fast running... this time round the forecast is looking more wintery with patchy rain possible 🌧

We're still inspired by all the legends who raced in the January heat, and we've been hanging for our turn to chug and run! 🔥

Please come and cheer/heckle! Bring layers - gloves, scarves, beanies and a brolly ☂️ For the racers, maybe waterproof layers and an extra pair of socks 🤔 But you'll be fine in your beer-coat post-race 😆

The winners Presentations are booked upstairs at where it'll be nice and cosy, and we'll be well looked after 💚
